As Mercedes-Benz shows off the first model year of the new decade with its line of 2020 vehicles, one shines with exceptional luster among them. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV has arrived and is ready to show drivers the future of driving. The new GLC SUV does so in four concise trim levels. In this blog post, we will explore the differences and commonalities between the trim levels of the GLC SUV.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 SUV

The base level of the new GLC SUV is the GLC 300. Under the hood, drivers will find a 2.0L Turbo inline-4 gasoline engine. At its best, this engine reaches 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The GLC SUV almost breaks 30 mpg highway, settling on a modest 24 combined mpg. The sound system maintains compatibility with the most common smartphones through a USB connection.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC®* SUV

This version of the GLC 300 SUV is almost the same as its predecessor, with one notable exception. This version has the Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC®* all-wheel-drive technology for greater road traction and improved fuel efficiency over other drive configurations. Otherwise, the standard sound system, engine, and performance are unchanged from the GLC 300 SUV.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43 SUV

The AMG-enhanced 3.0L V6 Biturbo engine defines this trim level. It produces 385 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. This version of the GLC SUV also comes with 4MATIC®* all-wheel drive for improved performance.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 63 SUV

The highest trim level brings along another more powerful engine. A handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine churns out 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Including a 13 speaker, 2 subwoofer Burmester® sound system creates a vehicle that sounds so much better it feels like a different SUV altogether.
