Originally known as the M-Class, the Mercedes-Benz executive luxury crossover become the GLE starting in the 2016 model year. In 2019, the GLE entered its fourth generation and would now be available as either a traditional SUV or as the 5-door coupe body style Mercedes-Benz has revolutionized. The newest iteration of this vehicle, carrying over many of the upgrades and enhancements the GLE just received over the past couple of years, is the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE, available right now near Savannah GA!
Before it was the GLE, the Mercedes-Benz M-Class made its debut all the way back in 1997 as a midsize luxury SUV. It slides right into the lineup between the smaller GLC and larger GLS luxury crossovers.
