Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up the Garage Goor Buttons In Your Mercedes-Benz
Turn on the ignition.
Locate the garage door buttons on your rearview mirror.
Press and hold the first and third buttons at the same time for 20 seconds to clear the buttons if needed.
Press and hold the button you want to program until the light on the mirror flashes yellow.
Hold your handheld garage door remote up to the rearview mirror button and then press and hold the button on your remote. Continue holding until the light on the rearview mirror turns green.
One of two things will happen. If the green light is solid, not flashing, then you have successfully programmed the button to your garage door.
If the green light flashes, this means you have a rolling code system for your garage door opener and that additional steps are needed.
If you have a rolling code system, you’ll need a safe ladder to reach the training button on your garage door opener. Press this button.
Return to your car immediately and press the button on your mirror that you want to program for two seconds three times in a row.

As you can see, programming the Mercedes-Benz garage door opener buttons is a fairly simple process. Don’t forget to check back to the Mercedes-Benz of Hilton Head blog to learn more tips for your vehicle.
